Happy NAIDOC Week

NAIDOC Week is held in the first full week of July to celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures.

NAIDOC stands for National Aboriginal and Islander Observation Committee and has its origins in the 1920’s with the emergence of Aboriginal groups who sought to increase the awareness to the wider community of the status and treatment of  Indigenous Australians.
